I know today has been a nice and sunny day, but I had a busy day yesterday, so decided to take things easy today, and what better way than to scrap.
So this is this weeks sketch, with the twisted being buttons.
and my take on the sketch, I mainly stayed to the layout, but added a few other bits, stamping, detail at the top left had corner. I've used my Studio Calico Jun 2011 kit.
The photo is of my and my friends on a trip to Ireland in 2005, on an open top tour bus. It was the Sunday of our weekend away and we were abit hung over and its was freezing, but like I keep telling them we might not come back again so we better see some of the sights, as it is 3 of us have not returned so all my pushing about sightseeing paid off - lol.
This holiday was pre-scrapbooking, so I'm really surprised how many photos I've got that can be added to layouts to tell the story.
So I scattered a few buttons around the rosettes, or and the bows where added to cover up a ripped corner.
And the American Craft Thickers are 'nude' so I stamped over them with some script, just so that they could pop out of the paper.
Hope you like what I done, thanks for stopping by ...
