Out with the old .....

and in with the new, because today we took delivery of this

our new family car.

I did feel a bit sad this morning taking our old car for its last drive ... but it was 11 years old and had done over 100,000 miles. She was the first car that we got brand new and I think it will be the last, unless we win the lottery that is. I remember being able to choose the colour, the interior, the extra and how my DH let me drive it out of the garage, and can still remember how nervous I felt and I don't think I went about 30 mph the whole way home - must to the annoyance of the other road users and my DH - lol. She had served her purpose and it was time to trade in and move on.

So its goodbye to the old ....

Now I just need to get use to driving this one as well as I did my old one.
