Craft for a Cure

The lovely Morag and Nicki organised a great event on Saturday 10th - Craft for a Cure. Where we spent a day crafting in the aid of charity 'Cancer Research UK' was the chosen recipitants.

They both worked really hard in making the day as enjoyable as possible. Loads of donated raffle prizes, a great buffet lunch and 2 fab classes, a page layout from Morag and a mini book from Nicki using a fab kit from Echo Park - Victoria Garden. They had even asked 'Creative Moments' to attend and made the long journey up for such a good cause.

I took this photo because all the plates where labelled with the name of the item but also a 'Cancer Research UK' label, which I thought was so neat.

Another scrapper 'Jane Dapp' donated this wonderful cake, where we had to guest the weight and the nearest to it, won it - sadly it wasn't me.

There was also guess how many buttons where in a jar. All little things that made the total amount add up.

Well I got an email from Morag and the event had raised £900, which is just fantastic.

Confession time, I didn't do the classes as planned as I'm trying to get my niece's 21st album sorted which is already late for her actual birthday, but she will get it in time for her party later this month. I have been scrapping but got nothing to show at the moment.

Thanks for stopping by ...
