Cards, Tags and knitting

The time just flies by, I've been crafting and trying to get organised for the festive season so here are a few crafty bits I've been doing over the past few weeks.

I've mainly been doing cards this months, I've got a few birthday coming up in January, and I didn't what to leave things till the last minutes, so I put these together. Now just because I've done them doesn't mean they will be posted on time.

I'm still on a mission to use up my older stash, so this is using a Bellaboo kit from ages ago I think 2008 ???

Bellaboo Kit - Cardstock and Patterned paper -Basic Grey Two Scoops, pink ribbon, buttons and lace; gems, green ribbon and flowers from my stash; Punches:-Fiskars, Stampin' Up and Martha Stewart; Nesties; Cuttlebug - Birthday Embossing Folder; Stampin' Up Birthday greetings.

All images coloured with Promarkers.

This was a free stamp from a 'Creativity' magazine, I normally give them away, but I like this one.

I think this paper is College Press, it was one I did a while ago, by added more detail.

The other morning I woke up at 4.30am and couldn't get back to sleep so nipped into my craft room and did these two cards. I had coloured the images ages ago and put these two cards together with some October Afternoon - Be Merry Christmas 2009 collection.

Not sure what manufacture produces this, but I its a stamps I borrowed from Julie to stamp some images.

You will notice a theme in most of my cards and its the lovely corner punch by Martha Stewart I got it in a set from QVC a while back, along with the corresponding border punch and another border punch. I use it on most of the cards and had even used it on some of my layouts, I think it just finishes it off.

And to add to my homemade wrapping paper, I decided to make some tags, using these products, WH Smith kraft tags, Stamping up products - 'Reindeer' , snowflakes, message stamps, ribbon, inks, EK Success Real Estate Sign label punch and some gems.

(Note to self - remember to take photos of tags when on desk before you give presents away - LOL). Thankfully still got one present to hand over so was able to take photo, while it was on the gift.

I'm not a very good knitter which I hope next year I can rectify that, but each year I do like to make a winter scarf, providing its not too complicated - LOL. So I managed to do this in one night, started to do it whilst James was at his swimming lesson, well I have to keep myself occupied somehow, then finished it off at home. So it took my about 3 hours in total.

Thanks for stopping by ...

Agree about the wool that you used to make your scarf - it's so lovely I have three of them in different colours. The wool is really unusual too. Happy New Year X
