More Layouts

At the end of November 2013 I revisited Harry Potter studio tour with some friends, we had such a  laugh and this layout such shows what fun we had.

I used Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste Paper, and stamped in the speech bubbles - most of the stamps used where from Scraptastic.

S.C.R.@.P 2013 Layout

One of my goals this year is to try and complete all unfinished projects, and here is one that was designed and taught by Morag at the S.C.R.@.P Retreat in November 2013.

It was a double page using Simple Stories 24/7 collection.

I love how she has used the paper to make a banner and also how we did some vellum feathers to add the layout.

I'm slowly catching up with uploading my scrapbooking pages that I've done this year, and I've still to start on my 2014 Project Life pages - ahhhh !!! but I'm not stressing about it and hopefully I will be on track soon.

Anyway,  here are 2 layouts that I've did last month

This photo was taken August 2013 when we visited London for the day.

This one is on James in 2012 outside the Council offices in Birmingham.

Moxley Workshop with Trisha Ladoucer

Yesterday, I was at a workshop organised by the Moxley Crop with Trisha Ladoucer.  Tricia was over from Canada to teach at a local retreat and had been booked to run a workshop for the Moxley crop by Deb or runs Moxley crop.

Well to say it was great would be an understandment, I love it! totally colours that I would not have brought myself has they where very pastel and having a boy thought that I would have been able to use these colours, how wrong was I.

The workshop was to product a Heidi Swapp file folder album with loads of inter-acting pages, and for onces I actually finished the album at the crop and managed to add photos last night.

The paper collection was Pink Paislee Colour Wash

I added a photo of the back pages to show you the colour effect of the folder, I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar & Scattered Scraw - that worked really well with the papers.

I think the colours really works with the photos I choose, and I love that I managed to finish if off in a day, a first for me.

Apologies for the very poor quality of the photos, raining as usual so very dull and as I was on a roll thought I better take photos and upload otherwise it will be weeks before I get round to it.

This is one thing I can tick off my list - do more workshops this year.
