My birthday is at Christmas time and with James's a week later, then Jon's a week after, getting presents and making the days special can be a bit of struggle so we decided a while ago to get present in the middle of the year, well the Queen has two brithday, so while not us - lol. So my half birthday present is this
Yah!! a Digital SLR Canon 600d.
I have wanted one for a while now, but it has taken me months in research and even deciding whether I really needed a new camera when the one I had worked ok, but about 6 weeks ago I noticed the focusing was not working as quickly as it did in the past, and also I don't know how, but I've managed to break the screen, I can still take photos but it can be very fustrating when it won't forcus, so the decision was really taken out of my hands.
I've had a play with it and these are the first photos I've taken just pottering around my garden. They are all taken on Auto and I just pointed and shot - lol, I need to find out how lenses work to get the most out of it.
I can't wait to get out and about and learn how to use all the features.
