Summer Scavenger Hunt 2013

One of  Sheena blog post was about a Summer Scavenger Hunt List, I've never heard of this before so hopped over to this blog here  to find out more and thought I'd give it a try and see how how do.

So here are my finds from the list  (A photo heavy post)

No. 1 - Open Air Market - Every year there is an international food market in the City

No. 2 - Theatre - I visited the Botanical Gardens in July with my MIL and watch a performance of Twelveth Night in the Gardens.

No. 3 - Town Hall in Birmingham

No. 4 - Airplane - The Red Arrows over Chatsworth House

No. 5 - Sunset - Sheringham Beach

No. 8 - A Tower - Chatsworth

No. 9 - Whilst visiting Bristol at the beginning of August noticed the City tour bus clearly said 'City Sightseeing - Eastbourne & Beachyhead' which is 186 miles away - I think the bus had taken a major detour - lol.

No. 9 - My local shopping area / square was transformed into a beach for a week.

Also whilst visiting Derbyshire saw these Orchich in a field along with some sheep.

No. 10 - A bench outside - found this one at Central Park in Bristol.

and this one from the ground of Chatsworth

No. 11 - An animal in a Aquarium  - An Otter at SeaLife Centre, Birmingham

No. 14 - Stained Glass - well watching a man make a stained glass window (Chatsworth)

But I'd also got a photo of St. Peters Church window in Sheringham

No. 15 - A Police Car - this was parked at my local shopping area - it was scary seeing it because I can remember when these were the norm when I was growing up.

No. 16 - A Windmill -  Cley Windmill in Norfolk

No. 17 Candle 0 not real ones but found at the Maritime Museum, Greenwich

and these real ones displayed at Chatsworth House

No 19 - A Fisherman - Bristol

No. 20 - A Dinosaur - on the 'Gromit Trail' This is Gromitasaurus

No. 22 -  saw this lady dressed in the same colours has one of the Gromit named 'Jack' having her photograph taken by it.

and a Guard outside Buckingham Palace

No. 23 - Sundial

and the final one is this

No. 21 - of me, not a great photo has it was taken with my iPhone whilst compiling this blog.

I've not found all on the list but it was good looking for the items over the summer.  James helped find a few and took a couple of the above photos.

With my 'start of term' commitments dying down now I'm hoping to be able to finish my July PL pages and get them uploaded before the end of the month.

Thanks for stopping by.

Great photos. The Red Arrows at Chatsworth would be amazing. We were there earlier this year but nothing as good as seeing the Red Arrows was on.
