Toad Hall - a Scrapping Weekend

I've jut spent a lovely weekend with my scrapping friends at Toad Hall, in Shropshire.

We started our weekend in Much Wenlock,

but before I meet the girls for lunch I took the chance to have a wander on my own around Wenlock Priory.

The field next to the Priory was full of lambs, most of them snuggling together to keep warm.

then we had lunch at the Copper Kettle, which was yummy

then onto Toad Hall for a weekend of scrapping fun !!!

This was my 5th time coming here and we are always greeted with this - such a lovely gesture

This was my room

This was the crop room

Again we had a Caterer, but this time we brought our own desserts, OMG - this raspberry white chocolate cheesecake was yummy!  made my the lovely Sue, very much appreciated and totally on the menu for next time.

We took a few photos, but not has many has I normally do

As a thank you for organising the weekend the girls gave me a voucher so that I could get some seriously gorgeous wool, now I have not excuse not to crochet something, so what this space.

I will be back soon with the layouts I completed.

Thanks for stopping by ...

Better late than never ...

I've been meaning to post these layouts for weeks now, at least 3 weeks, and things just keep getting in the way.  Anyway, here they are

Produced Used : Studio Calico - January 2013 kit

This Jenni Bowlin stenscil paper has been in my stash just waiting to be used, I added patterned paper between the C and the J as they are our initials.

The next two layouts I did at my last crop.

These photos make me smile, they were taken last year at a retreat.  It was my idea to have the serious pose.  The ideas of doing a 12x12 layout and the divided page protection I got from one of the Glitter Girls videos - a great idea for adding more photos.

Products used : October Afternoon - Midway Collection

but has you can see it didn't last that long - I love spending time with these girls

Close up - the arrow on one of the patterned papers was ideal to use as an indicator.

Products used: Studio Calico Darling Dear collection.  The design of this layout came from another Glitter Girl page.

And finally, this is a sneak of a layout that will be appearing in the next issue of Scrapbook Magazine.

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrapbook Magazine - Issue 70

Scrapbook magazine asked me to produce a layout using the lovely 'Echo Park 'For the Record 2' collection, and here is what I did.

The only additional thing I added was a die cut from my Silhouette Cameo.

So why not go and grab a copy of the magazine to see what the rest of the DT team have come up with .
