Happy Halloween 2013

This year my boxes were cut from the Silhouette - I had intended to cut different ones, but time was running out so I ended up just doing all the same ones.

I stamped the backs of the boxes with some stamps have had for ages from Pink Paislee

and filled them with various halloween sweets with a chocolate lolly in the top.

Happy Halloween, hope what every who have planned goes smoothly and you have a fab night.

Thanks for stopping by.

Holiday Albums - Benidorm 2013

Early this year I had a girly break in Benidorm, and as usual I made 4 holiday albums, 3 of them all the same, all with the same pages and photo placements.

For mine I've done a 8x6 album, which I will share with you shortly.

Here are a few photos of the completed albums.

I got this Benidorm sign from a key ring that I purchased whilst on hoiiday.

I also did some prep before I went on holiday

Stitched tags - yes I did these whilst at James swimming lessons

and loads of die cuts from the Silhouette

I got a postcard and added it to the front of each album.

and stamped words on the back - stamps by Ali Edwards

Even thought my friends are not crafty they do know the importance of keeping tickets etc, so I cut an envelope (silhouette) and added to the front of the album.

Thought out the albums I've used my Silhouette, the suitcase and words on these pages

The cocktail and sun on here, the piece of 'foam' fruit came with the cocktail.

Love this stamp that I got from a Studio Calico kit earlier this year.

The pages don't have alot of journalling on, but I sent each of them a note to say that they could each add there own personal touch to their albums.

I hope you like what I did, the girls loved them and going through them brought back some great memories.

Thanks for stopping by.

The Forge - Layouts

At my weekend again I had set out to complete some 12x12 layouts and had put a few page kits together, along with sketches or layouts that I wanted to scrap lift.  I'd decided that has I'm way behind with my scrapping projects using  sketches and scraplifting would give me the boost that I needed to get my mojo back.

In the Air  - is a scraplift from Mel Blackburn  for Jillibean Soup - on her layout she used a Jillibean Soup placemat, I just adapted a Silhouette Cut file to get a similar effectm=, using Studio Calico Atlantic Collection.

2 Cool for School - a scrap lift from Shanna Noel  for Studio Calico, pencil cut file is from Studio Calico and I've just welded the pencils together.

Grand Day - this photo was taken by James on my 1st visit to Bristol over the Summer on the Gromit Hunt with the lovely Beki.

In Flight - This started off as a sketch, but I went off on my own.  Papers - Simple Stories - Say Cheese Collection.

This stamp was from a Studio Calico kit, and is a great one to add to my Harry Potter layouts.

Going Underground - This was a sketch by Shimelle, I use my last Studio Calico kit on this,

as well as added the Tube map to form part of the background.

As well as these I've started on my holiday album, and did a few pages of my Project Life August pages - which I will blog about shortly.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Scrapping Weekend in Derbyshire - The Forge 2013

I've just had a fantastic weekend away with these lovely ladies in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, we started off with lunch

Then we had a wander around the town and did a bit of shopping

The a short convoy journey to the barn

It doesn't look very big from the outside but was plenty big enough for us.

but has you can see it was very spacious inside.

This is one of the bedrooms,

This was our scrapping table late at night.

Sue had made this FAB-U-LOUS (said like Craig from Strictly would say) Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake - OMG !!! I swear I could gladly eat the whole one to myself - its totally yummy !!!

On the Sunday we had a Chicken Roast Dinner - prepared by Julie - which was a final meal as a group has a few of the ladies had to leave on the Sunday afternoon.

To company the cheesecake Sam made a chocolate sauce - which was delicious

Me, Sam & Sheena  - Sheena and I try and meet up each month, but its always great for the 3 of us to be together and spend some time catching up.

I had a quick walk around the gardens and came across this lovely leaf, I've not adjusted the colours this was how it was ... love it when the leaves turn.

This is  the Farm house that can also be rented out.

and all around there was green fields,

Then before you know it, its Sunday night and we are in our PJ's watching X-Factor.

I had a fantastic weekend, and these lovely ladies made it possible, We laughed, scrapped, ate, drank and laughed ever more.  Thanks for making the weekend so much fun.

Looking forward to next year.
